Rebecca L Silinski, Associate

Rebecca L. Silinski is an associate at Farrell & Reisinger. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Silinski worked in private practice focusing largely on whitecollar defense, False Claims Act/qui tam matters, civil rights litigation, internal investigations and various estate matters.

Ms. Silinski earned her J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law where she received the Katie Elisabeth Westbrook Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, the Shalom Moot Court Award, the Dr. John E. Murray, Jr. Award for Outstanding Writing and was named a National Member of the Order of the Barristers. During her time at Duquesne, she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Program, National Semi-Finalist at both the National Civil Trial Competition and the National Trial Competition. She also participated in the Top Gun National Mock Trial Competition.

Ms. Silinski received her Masters Degree in Leadership and Organizational Performance from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University while serving as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball program. Ms. Silinski received her Bachelors of Science in Communications Studies and Political Science, also from Vanderbilt University, where she was a four-year letter winner for the Commodore’s women’s basketball program. During that time she was a member of four NCAA tournament teams, with two Sweet Sixteen appearances, and a member of the 2009 SEC Championship team.

In addition to the work she does on behalf of clients, Ms. Silinski is co-chair of the Law and Education Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania and a council member of the Federal Court Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. She is also published in the Oklahoma Law Review for co-authoring the article George Zimmerman, Jerry Sandusky and the Ethics of Counsel’s Use of the Media, 68 Okla. L. Rev., No. ­­2 (Winter 2016).

Ms. Silinski is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Western District of Pennsylvania.
